Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to build a community of Virtual Assistants who do good work, have good work ethic, and who care about their clients.

We also invite entrepreneurs to join the Language Stories Series (LSS), where they can clarify and share their business story. With clearer communication, hiring the right VA — and collaborating successfully — becomes far easier.

We provide professional development, career opportunities, and training in real workplace communication challenges. Through the Language Stories Series, VAs learn to articulate their story with confidence.

For Entrepreneurs

We invite you to the LSS as well — to sharpen how you share your business vision. From there, we provide three carefully matched VA candidates, and ongoing support so your VA continues to grow with your business.

Our Founder: Darryl Lim

Darryl Lim is the founder of Split Arenas and artistic director of Split Theatre. He is a theatre director, educator, and PhD candidate with a Master's degree in Theatre & Performance Studies from the National University of Singapore.

Background & Expertise:

  • Taught English under Singapore's Ministry of Education for more than a decade

  • Founded an ensemble-based theatre company featured in Tatler Asia and TimeOut Singapore

  • Built a career helping people express themselves with clarity and authenticity

His expertise in storytelling, performance, and communication now underpins Split Arenas' unique approach: teaching VAs and entrepreneurs how to build trust through sincere communication.

With years of experience coaching professionals and guiding creative teams, Darryl brings the discipline of theatre — clarity, practice, and presence — into the world of remote work and business.
